The Wholistic Dog Lifestyle with Dr. Shantel
I am excited to announce the development of a safe place to help our canine companions become the best versions of themselves!
For years I have struggled with how to help more owners and their dogs, and I have finally found it! In the coming weeks I will be rolling out a Facebook group specific for canine fitness and conditioning, as well as learning about Chinese Medicine, diet, supplements, and all the ways to give your dog the best chance to be the best versions of themselves! The focus will be heavy on fitness and correct form, and the goal will be creating a wholistic dog lifestyle through diet and exercise!
Perks of Membership:
⭐️You do NOT need to be a client! However, clients are encouraged to sign up. There is always information we cannot get to in appointments.
⭐️Exercise of the month - in depth how to's, why, and what not to do, as well as things to make it more complex. More exercises will be posted throughout the week, but the big discussion will be based on one particular exercise.
⭐️Allow ACTIVE participants to post videos of any exercise for review - 2 minutes, 2 times a week. This will allow for critiquing of exercise from me so that your dog can get the best out of what you are doing. My response may be written or video with demo.
⭐️Discussion on what fitness equipment is good or bad equipment, and what their uses are. Also, do you even need equipment? Videos of proper use of equipment and trouble shooting tips on training an exercise.
⭐️Discussion on fitness related topics, such as how to create a schedule to rotate through exercises, what is a circuit, what is HIIT training, and whatever participants would like covered.
⭐️Discussion and demo on how to progress through a fitness program, especially fir PUPPIES, but also the dog in front of you!
⭐️Discussion on topics all things Chinese Medicine - what is Tui-na massage; food therapy; how can I help my pet through diet; can little additions make big changes?
⭐️Discussion on supplements - what does my dog need; what works, what doesn't; how do I choose; is it safe?
⭐️Discussion of things you didn't know you needed to know, such as - how to test your dogs strength and what to do with that information; the importance of proper form and progression; how to make a warm up and cool down for my dog.
⭐️There will be a questions thread that ALL participants can post general questions. These questions will be answered at least twice a month. But may be answered sooner than that. It will depend if the question requires a video or a written description.
⭐️A live Q&A quarterly where ALL participants can ask questions.
⭐️OBSERVERS will have full access to content, but can only post questions in the bi-monthly questions thread!
⭐️And so much more!!!!
This group will allow clients to see exercises in action and allow for an open commentary on things you want to learn more about. We will cover things you may forget to ask in appointments or things we've never thought of for your dog. It will allow non-clients access to all this information! However, it is important to note that this is not a substitute for working one on one with a rehab or TCVM practitioner. It is an adjunct to allow more information to help you help your dog become the best they can be!
*Information will be slow released over time. Topics and Learning Guides will be utilized to keep content easily accessible.
ACTIVE membership LIMITED to 30 members - 59.95 for 3 months, 199 annual
OBSERVER membership UNLIMITED 29.95 for 3 months, 109 annual
Memberships will be auto renewal. An option to upgrade to ACTIVE may be available, but it is not guaranteed. Cancel at any time. No refunds will be given.
Enrollment is open for ONLY 30 days! Information will be released February 1st!
